We would like to invite you to join us in our research. Our Online-Workshop on the 25th and 26th of March 2022 offers you the chance of participating in the examination of representations of history on Instagram.
The workshop takes place on Zoom from 3pm to 7pm on the 25th and from 10am to 3pm on the 26th.
Social media is increasingly being utilised as a place of remembrance by memorials, museums and the media, as well as by enterprises, clubs and individuals. They all capitalize on the democratization of communication to find an audience for their personal messages.
The workshop offers you the opportunity of familiarizing yourself with the medium and its various forms of communication. Following this, you will join the project team in developing an analytical method for dealing with history on Instagram. We will then develop examplary posts together. The insights of this workshop, as well as the three following ones, will be used to create online education resources by the project core team, which will then be available to all citizens.
